View-Edit-Print News Ads

Note: Admin functions are restricted. This function requires a password.

Use the Real Estate News "View/Edit/Print News Ads" option to:

Commands

Show new or changed only: Request ads not yet marked as entered. Use with or without entering an MLS#, Salesperson ID, or Office ID.

Submit: Submit values entered for MLS#, Salesperson ID, Office ID, and/or Show new or changed only.

Show All: Displays all ads regardless of any value entered above, including the check box.

Clear: Clear values from all fields.

Print View: When available at a list, provides a print view of the list. When available at a particular ad, provides a print view of the ad.

Mark as Entered: Mark as processed. Changes "Yes" to "No" at the New column. The ad no longer displays with the list of new or changed ads.

Mark as New: Mark as unprocessed. Changes "No" to "Yes" at the New column. The ad displays with the list of new or changed ads.

Print and Mark: (1 per page or 8 per page) Create a printable report of all ads in the list, and mark all as entered (processed). This removes all the new or changed ads from the list simultaneously.

Using View-Edit-Print News Ads

To Process New or Changed Ads One at a Time

  1. At the Administrator's menu, select Real Estate News.

  2. At the News Ad Admin menu, select View/Edit/Print News Ads.

  3. Select the Show new or changed only check box and then click Submit. The resulting list includes only ads for which the New column displays "Yes".

  4. Click the first ad to view it.

  5. Optionally, click Print View to obtain a print view of the ad; click Edit if you need to make changes in the ad.

  6. After processing the ad, view it again and click Mark as Entered. Click OK at the confirmation prompt.

  7. Click Done.

     

To Process New or Changed Ads as a Group

  1. At the Administrator's menu, select Real Estate News.

  2. At the News Ad Admin menu, select View/Edit/Print News Ads.

  3. Select the Show new or changed only check box and then click Submit. The resulting list includes only ads for which the New column displays "Yes".

  4. Click Print and Mark (either 1 per page or 8 per page). Click OK at the confirmation prompt.

To List all Ads

  1. At the Administrator's menu, select Real Estate News.

  2. At the News Ad Admin menu, select View/Edit/Print News Ads.

  3. Click Show All. The list displays both new and old ads.

  4. Click any ad to view, mark, print, or edit it; or

    choose Print View to obtain a list to print; or

    choose Print and Mark (1 per page or 8 per page) to obtain a printout of each ad, marking each new ad as entered (processed).

To Look Up Particular Ads

NOTE: You may look up an ad by MLS#, or show all the ads for a particular Salesperson ID or Office ID.

  1. At the Administrator's menu, select Real Estate News.

  2. At the News Ad Admin menu, select View/Edit/Print News Ads.

  3. Enter a value at one or more fields: MLS#, Salesperson ID, and/or Office ID.

  4. Click Submit.
